Stories on Stage: Dr. Seuss

Stories On Stage introduces students to the sequence of a play/story, vocal and physical control, and story creation incorporating music and movement. Students explore the vocabulary and fundamentals of theatre and performance. Each student is encouraged to express themselves with inspiration from popular children’s stories and authors. 

THEME: DR. SEUSS ON THE LOOSE

I am a ham. A ham I am. I am acting here and there. I am acting everywhere! Oh the things you can think and wonder, wonder and think. There are a gajillions of stories of mischief and fun, The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who, The Lorax, and more. Explore the world of amazing and silly world of Dr. Seuss. Oh the places we will go when imagination soars.  These any characters connect and combine and zig and zag and the result is a unique and brilliant play shared with family and friends.

        3. Time: 9am – 3pm
        4. Performances: Friday, July 12th at 6:30pm & Saturday, July 13th at 2pm
        5. Location: The Broadway Playhouse

        8. (includes a $5/month processing fee on monthly payments. Fees are based on total project hours) 

    You must be available for all performances in order to register and receive a role in this class.
