It’s all about fashion. Runway Project is an original based on the fantasy, foils, fictions and flash of the fashion industry. Set in the context of a reality show, designers compete for top prizes through bizarre creative challenges. Who will win the coveted grand prize? Who will prevent another from winning it? Amidst the chaos and and industry spoofs, Runway Project reveals a little bit about art history, and the allure of couture. It is an example of the human creative spirit and the desire to be unique and express yourself.
This class is for experienced actors. Students will be assigned projects and challenges to support the production, so expect additional time commitments. It is strongly recommended that actors in Runway Project are also enrolled in the Costume Couture design class.
