Special Interest classes focus on a particular style or genre of performing arts. Qualified and expert Guest Instructors work with students on original works for the stage. Playwriting, Music/Voice, Dance/Movement, Poetry, Shakespeare or other period Style, Sketch and Improv are all potential themes. Students and instructor decide on the production value of their unique work of art. Creative expression by the students is not only encouraged, but serves as the basis of each work created.
Technique Theme: Singing For The Stage
This Vocal Technique class focuses on strengthening the voice as a tool for musical theater. This Coaching style workshop is excellent for all young singers and X factor hopefuls! The workshop gives each participant the opportunity to focus on the expertise needed for successful musical theater; singing styles, different ranges, techniques, harmonies and warm-ups. Our main aim is to build confidence, give advice and to have as much fun as possible. A cabaret performance completes the class. Private coaching is also available by special arrangement. There is a MAXIMUM of 8 students.
