Get Smart
"Get Smart" is a stage adaptation of the classic 1960s television comedy series created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry. The play is a spoof of the spy genre, filled with slapstick humor, witty dialogue, and absurd situations. The plot follows bumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart (Agent 86), who works for the government agency CONTROL. He is tasked with thwarting the evil plans of KAOS, an organization bent on world domination.
Max is partnered with the competent and beautiful Agent 99, and together they embark on a mission to recover a stolen formula for a powerful new weapon. With a mix of physical comedy, clever wordplay, and exaggerated spy tropes, it's a lighthearted, fast-paced production.
