These are story-based lesson plans best suited for grades TK-1 (2nd grade ESL). All activities are fun and allign with California Art, Common Core, and National Core Art Standards.

Watch the videos, print the activities, andbring the story to life with crafts. We’d love to see your work, send picures and/or videos to classes@westperformingarts.com and we will share them with other students on our social media.

Activities are selected using materials commonly found at home, or if you prefer, you may purchase a materials kit from WEST mailed to your home. Material kits include all necessary items to complete the four book-based lesson in each theme. Current themes available: Friendship & Leadership and Everything Under the Ocean.
